At this very moment, plans are being made to clear fell our native forest for no other reason than to create woodchips for export and to perhaps generate waste to justify the proposed energy production by burning our native forests, calling it green and renewable!!
Vic Forests have scheduled over 50 clearfell logging coupes for our tiny area of W tree over the next 4 years. YOUR area could be next!
And guess what? Our taxes are subsidising the clearfelling because the woodchip industry cannot exist on its own merit.
The forests belong to all the people.
